Marblehead is a hidden gem I can’t recommend enough. We spent two incredible days there and could have easily stayed longer. Conveniently located just 45 minutes from Boston and 15 minutes from Salem, Marblehead offers so much to love. The town feels like a perfectly preserved movie set, boasting historic charm and a unique sense of authenticity. Unlike other tourist spots, there’s only one commercialized restaurant in town—everything else is local, making for an unforgettable cultural experience.
Adding to its allure, Marblehead’s coastline is home to three yacht clubs, with hundreds of picturesque boats gently swaying in the harbor. This magical East Coast paradise is a must-visit for anyone exploring the region!

As the only surviving structure with direct ties to the trials, this historic home once belonged to Judge Jonathan Corwin, who presided over the trials in 1692. Now a museum, it stands as one of the most iconic and visited landmarks in Salem, Massachusetts.
Our time in Salem was highly anticipated, especially for anyone who grew up watching Hocus Pocus. Like most millennials, I was completely smitten with the movie! The Witch House is also conveniently located near Alison’s house from Hocus Pocus. While you’re in the area, take a stroll through the stunning mansion and its grounds to relive some of the film’s most memorable moments.
